Round 3 of the UISP Italian Championship took place in Sesso (RE). This track provided very good grip and lots of fun thanks to a difficult layout full of tight corners. Fifty-four drivers participated at this race which was divided into the usual classes: Modified, 13.5T No Timing F1, and 13.5T No Timing F2. This time the weather was awesome, giving us sunshine and warmth; it was over 30° and the asphalt temperature was almost 65°.
Qualifying Modified:
My car was very fast from the first qualifying session and this allowed me to get pole position by winning all qualifying rounds ahead of Alessio Mancini and Francesco Martini.
In F1 we had a tough battle between Gianluca Radaelli, Gabriele Vignolini, Mattia Collina, and Nico Catelani. At the end of qualifying, Vignolini took pole position. Catelani was 2nd, Radaelli 3rd , and Collina 4th .

Modified Finals:
In the finals I managed to re-do what I did in qualifying thanks to the good feeling with the car. Winning all the finals, I claimed the final victory of the race. In the first final, Alessandro Brunelli was the protagonist with an amazing comeback and he arrived 2nd ahead of Davide Campanini. Mancini and Martini were involved in a crash that made them lose several positions. In the second final, Mancini was 2nd and Martini 3rd. In the third and last final, Macchioni and Brunelli exploited another crash between Mancini and Martini to arrive 2nd and 3rd, respectively. Winning this race I also obtained the final victory of the Italian Championship one race in advance!

In F1, Vignolini won the first two finals to get the victory for this race. Catelani, Radaelli and Collina created exciting battles with lots of overtaking.
